I have had this effect for a while, and have experimented a lot with it. After buying the right sized envelopes the rest is easy to make/do.

This trick has an amazing impact on the spectator, and as it is easy to do you can focus entirely on your audience management/interaction.

Daryl has a funny style, but this also can be played quite serious with incredible results. Plus, you end squeaky clean!

Don't even know where to start. This pound for pound the best value for your money. The slights alone taught is worth the price for someone who doesn't know to do them correctly. The trick itself is pure GENIUS. WOW!!! The ending is a 1-2 punch knock out of an effect. I did the effect dead on the first try. Easy to do. Daryl breaks it down so easy. And what you'll need most likely you already have around the house. EXCELLENT!!!!!!

Maybe it's just me, but I found the 22-1/2 minute video a bit tedious in getting to the point. Otherwise I would have given it a 5 because it's a really clever and impressive illusion. Sometimes it would be nice to revisit "the old days" and have a PDF download of the basic instructions. In this case, coupled with the performance video, the package would have been stronger.

Many iterations of the rising card have come out recently at various prices. One even sold for 100 dollars. Then Daryl comes along with basic office supplies and blows us away with something simple, clever and deceptive. This was worth every penny.

I purchased this to refresh my memory as I haven't performed this in many years. For me, it's been the best 3 chosen cards rise available. The props are every day items familiar to everyone. It will take practise to learn the best place to poke the pencil through to get the most fluid card rises but it's not difficult. I prefer to make up the envelopes in advance and hand them out to Spectators to examine and choose one. The moves for motivating the rises are well covered as seen in the trailer. This trick gets my full recommendation due to the terrific reactions from the audience. For the low cost of the download, you won't be disappointed!

Another awesome Daryl effect. Daryl gives concise, expert instruction. Simple to do with basic sleight skills. Highly recommend this.
