Gasp vs Plants's gimmick with Close's handling
Is the Gasp gimmick a suitable substitute for Gary Plants's Magnetized Cards gimmick when performing Michael Close's handling of the effect from Closely Guarded Secrets/Devious? I would presume so, just based on the fact that Close's handling doesn't rely heavily on the functionality of the gimmick, but guidance from anyone familiar with Close's handling and the Gasp gimmick would be hugely helpful.
I used to love performing that routine, but haven't been able to track down a suitable gimmick for years now.
