You show them it's a generic photo of a beach - which seemingly could have fit ANY of the destinations from the list. However, you reveal the geo-tag of the photo to show it really was taken at their chosen location! Not only that, but the date of the photo is also the exact date they had freely named! (Please note this effect requires iOS 17 or later).

I wasn’t going to give this 5 stars. I was going to give it a hundred! This is such a wonderful collection of prediction routines, all done with the iPhone. The only other things you would need are a blank piece of paper and a pen or Sharpie, and not every routine even needs those. For a couple of the routines, you need to download a couple free apps from the Apple App Store. Otherwise, every routine is done with native iPhone apps.

The initial set-up takes a while, but it’s all very easy. Even someone not very tech savvy will do fine. The routines have different variations and ways of performing them, which adds to the number of possible handlings and effects.

It is recommended to use a Bluetooth selfie remote for some routines, but not necessary. Amazon sells them for $8.

The genius behind the workings of the routines is clearly seen. The performance of all routines is easy, and I’d be amazed if anyone can figure out how any routine is done. Only an iPhone super-user techie might get it. The effects are astonishing for such simple performances, all because of the self-working methods. I fancy myself as pretty good with the iPhone, but I never had an inkling what makes this all work.

David Jonathan does an outstanding job explaining both the set-up and the handlings. If I had to come up with a complaint, it would be that during the set-up, he goes a bit fast, and I was rewinding a lot. However, some of the set up steps take longer than it does to teach them, so that’s not David’s fault. Just be prepared to pause and/or rewind a bit. But you may be fast enough to keep up. Also, it would have been extremely time consuming for David to have slowed down any.

A PDF is included as a companion to the multiple tutorial videos. The PDF isn’t used instead of the videos, but it contains a lot of hints and additional info.

The effects work best with iOS 17, but David has generously included instructions to perform the routines with older operating systems.

The price is extremely fair for the assortment of routines, the possible variations of those routines, and the simplicity of performance. The somewhat lengthy set-up is all worthwhile as the end results pack a punch, with such a variety.

Received Black Magic about two weeks ago so figured after taking this period to evaluate , it is time to share some thoughts. First comment is that it is most definitely a 5 star product especially considering what you get for the price.
I agree with all comments posted in the previous March 23 , 2024 review without needing to repeat all the kudos. David has obviously spent a great deal of time ( and considerable knowledge) to put this all together.
As mentioned in other comments it is indeed somewhat time consuming to load and prepare all the shortcuts. If you don’t have several hours ( as I had to go back several times to correct some errors that I made) then maybe this effect might not be to your liking but trust me the time it takes to prepare is most definitely worth it. Suggestion here is that if a shortcut gets messed up , simply delete it , reload and start over. I now have Lotto , book read , Google maps , birthday gift and text to photo working perfectly. Just have not had time to load the remains effects.
Have had great reactions to these effects so far .
Perhaps one of my most liked about feature of this project is that I am always ready to perform it with just my iPhone. Unlike being asked to do some magic and I don’t have a deck of cards, coins or other gimmicks with me.
Final point is the Facebook group that you can join to get questions answered and other routine suggestions.

I really wanted to love this project. I own several of David Jonathan’s releases and have always been pleased but this one is not for me. I like to think that I am quite adept at using my phone, even a little more than the average person and after reading reviews that claim how easy this is to setup I made my purchase.
2 hours later and an additional experienced iPhone user could not fully understand setting up a few of the effects. The Lotto effect put the numbers out of sequence 3 of the 5 tries. Going into my photo gallery to find the lotto picture I noticed that the picture and one other that I was not using would duplicate itself. Very confusing for us to figure out. If you work at Apple or know someone who does, go for it. But please, if you are not above average with the inner workings of your phone and the shortcut app then this may be a tough one. No blame on the creator. I like David Jonathan. I just wish the “easy” word was not stressed in the descriptions and reviews.

Wow!! This is one of the best I have gotten. The best thing is there’s always something available to perform all the time as it’s done on your phone. There is no app required, which I found amazing. So can always end up clean. If you have an iPhone then I 1000% recommend this product.
