We realize many of our VIPS are loyal and have been in SL a very long time. For this we love you all and I would like to take a moment to give a nice FYI. Mesh bodies are still a new thing for many of us and questions always need to be answered I know. One topic of interest is that many ask us about appliers even when a gown is all mesh. Mesh can be a little confusing since it is always changing.

We try to keep everything easy and one big rule of thumb is that *mesh does not need appliers because there are alphas. Alphas are included for classic bodies and for mesh bodies which ever body you have Belleza, Maitreya, Slink they have alpha huds that you use to alpha out the areas you want to. This is necessary for most mesh clothing and is very easy. Also, with most mesh clothing even the newer fitmesh or liquid mesh you may need to use your alpha hud. *Also, as with most mesh you will need to go into “Edit Shape” of your avatar and adjust your sliders for a better fit as well. Do not be afraid to do that. I have many altered shapes that I label and use. One I have saved as “PMC Modeling” it is my skinny model shape. giggles. I also have one called “OMG shape” that one is really curvy and fun.

The second issue is that Appliers are just like wearing system layers on your classic body. Like lingerie and tights and such. The applier is the new way to wear these on your mesh body. You do not need appliers with mesh items since they are totally different. Appliers are what makes it possible for Roses unparalleled designs and textures to still live on in Second Life. Without appliers there would be a whole huge chunk of SL fashion blown away in the wind of modern fashion technology.

Paris Metro Coutures designs in appliers and textures are art and you will not see anywhere else in SL because Rose is the best. 🙂 Please if you have any mesh body and applier/mesh questions while inworld you can look me up and ask me. I will be happy to help you.~~AmandaMagick
